Fall Colors, Drinks and Jewelry: Embracing The Transition to Fall (with a glass of wine in hand)

Ah... I love Fall! Partly for the beautiful colors of the leaves changing, partly because of the change in the colors of glass I find in the dumpsters. It’s true, I can tell the season has changed from summer’s gin and Rose, to red wine and October beers simply from what I find in the dumpsters. And from my daily dumpster adventures for recycled glass, it's easy to tell that fall is officially red wine season.

FALL DRINKS MAKE SOME OF THE BEST COLORS

There are so many amazing colors in fall. Between the falling leaves, dropping temperatures, and shorter days, this is the time of the year to cozy up next to a warm fireplace, preferably with a deep-flavored, full-bodied glass of red wine. Red wine has a beautiful pine green, which is my favorite. 

But fall also highlights the golden sage yellow of Chardonnay, the lovely rich Amber from beer (Oktoberfest anyone?), to one my very favorites, yet hardest to find, the teal color from German Riesling.
