Magnificent You: A Collection to honor Weight Stigma Awareness Week
Supermodel, author, speaker, and body advocate Emme is such an inspiration! She is such a positive force for others, bringing brightness and energy to the world as well as to myself and my business.
I was honored and thrilled that she asked me to partner with her for our Magnificent You Collection to promote Weight Stigma Awareness Week. I hand picked some of my favorite items for this collection in which 25% of all proceeds from the Magnificent You Collection will be donated to organizations that promote positive body image and help empower women. The curvy glass in this collection is a celebration of our curves and unique bodies, no two are exactly alike.
ADORNING OUR BEAUTIFUL SELVES
As Emme mentions in her blog post about Weight Stigma Awareness Week, weight stigma, or weight bias, affects everyone (myself included!). This awareness week is an opportunity to practice something different - do and say things that will lift ourselves up, not tear ourselves down. It is an opportunity to become more aware of how we speak to ourselves, how we nourish our bodies, and how we celebrate what makes us each unique.
Our Magnificent You Collection is our way to help you adorn your beautiful self and to celebrate our unique forms and beauty. The curvy glass in this collection is a celebration of our curves and unique bodies. Each mosaic piece is made of smaller recycled glass pieces, that blended together creates something unique and new. No two pieces are exactly alike.
25% of all proceeds from the Magnificent You Collection will be donated to organizations that promote positive body image and celebrate women.
